A security operation in Casablanca led yesterday to the arrest of two individuals suspected of impersonating security officers, at Kissariat Al Haffari, following a coordinated intervention involving local authorities from administrative annex 17, auxiliary forces, and security services of the Derb Sultan district.
According to available information, the suspects’ behavior raised suspicions, prompting a monitoring operation that resulted in their arrest in flagrante delicto while in possession of equipment suggesting affiliation with a security service, including handcuffs and a communication device.
Preliminary data indicate that the individuals allegedly attempted to lure citizens by falsely presenting themselves as security officers, in connection with actions described as suspicious, the full details of which have not yet been disclosed.
The suspects have been placed in police custody under the instructions of the competent public prosecutor, as part of an ongoing judicial investigation aimed at determining the circumstances and possible extensions of the case.
