Maroc Telecom warns customers about fake online offers

    ayaApril 14, 2026

Amid rising digital fraud attempts, Maroc Telecom has warned its customers about the spread of fraudulent online offers targeting users through misleading posts claiming to provide special mobile plans associated with the company, sometimes including fake phone numbers starting with 0661.

In an official statement, the company clarified that these circulating offers are not related to its services, emphasizing that its official website www.iam.ma remains the only authorized platform for publishing its services and offers.

This warning comes as phishing attempts continue to increase, relying on impersonation of well-known institutions to lure users and obtain their personal data.

The company urged citizens to remain vigilant, avoid interacting with such misleading advertisements, and verify their sources before taking any action to prevent potential misuse of personal information.

It also stressed the importance of not sharing personal or banking data on untrusted websites, noting that protecting customer data remains a priority, and advised referring to its official platforms or authorized agencies in case of doubt.
