Tangier hosts collective art exhibition celebrating diverse visions

    ayaApril 13, 2026

A collective art exhibition titled “Crossing Visions” opened Saturday evening at the Charif Idrissi gallery in the Palace of Culture and Arts in Tangier, bringing together Moroccan and international artists, critics, and art enthusiasts.

Organized by the Regional Directorate of Culture of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima in coordination with artist Myriam Najah, the exhibition runs for three days and features 42 artworks created by 21 artists from Morocco, Tunisia, and Spain.

The exhibition showcases a variety of artistic styles and perspectives within a shared creative space that reflects the diversity of visual expression.

Organizers indicated that the event highlights the richness of artistic approaches and provides an opportunity for exchange between artists from different backgrounds.

Participants also pointed to the inclusion of elements such as Arabic calligraphy in several artworks, adding depth to the visual compositions.

The artworks explore themes including nature, women, and traditional crafts, offering symbolic and aesthetic interpretations.

The exhibition is held in celebration of International Women’s Rights Day, aiming to bring art closer to the public and encourage artistic dialogue.
