According to the Spanish newspaper “La Razón,” Morocco led the list of countries importing Russian diesel alongside Ghana and Syria, with Russian exports to international markets reaching approximately 3.06 million tons in March, marking a 3% decrease from the previous month.
The report noted that Morocco, like countries such as Turkey and Brazil, maintained high levels of Russian diesel imports, benefiting from its geographic location and economic flexibility.
This development highlights Morocco’s ability to diversify its economic partners and ensure energy security, reinforcing its position as a key player in the global energy sector.
