The Ministry of Justice warned on Friday about a fraudulent website impersonating the official platform for paying traffic fines issued through fixed radar systems, following the circulation of SMS messages targeting users.
According to an official statement, these messages suggest that recipients may qualify for partial fine exemptions, while setting a near payment deadline and warning of additional charges if payment is not made before April 5, 2026.
The ministry clarified that the website in question is not affiliated with its official digital services, emphasizing that fine payments are only processed عبر the official secure platform.
It also urged citizens to remain vigilant, avoid clicking on suspicious links, and verify website addresses before entering any personal or financial information.
