The Presidency of the Public Prosecution held a national meeting on April 2 and 3, 2026 in Rabat, focusing on the role of commercial courts in handling business difficulty procedures and protecting economic public order, with the participation of judicial officials from commercial jurisdictions.
This event comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the role of the judiciary in supporting economic development and improving the business climate, highlighting the importance of enterprises as a key pillar of the national economy.
During the opening remarks, emphasis was placed on the need to ensure legal and judicial security as a means to build investor confidence and enhance the investment environment.
The discussions also addressed the role of the Public Prosecution in safeguarding economic order, including ensuring fair competition, protecting creditors’ rights, and contributing to the management of companies facing financial or economic difficulties within the existing legal framework.
