The General Directorate of National Security and the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance stated in an official release that their Director General Abdellatif Hammouchi received on March 30, 2026, in Rabat the Inspector General of Police of Liberia Gregory Coleman, accompanied by his country’s ambassador and a security delegation.
The visit is part of Liberia’s interest in benefiting from Morocco’s experience in various security fields and applying it to develop its police structures.
During the meeting, the Liberian side expressed interest in strengthening cooperation with Moroccan services, particularly in counterterrorism and organized crime, as well as in developing scientific and technical policing.
Both parties agreed to prepare a memorandum of understanding to structure this cooperation and expand its scope, with plans to sign it in Rabat in May 2026.
Additionally, the Moroccan official received the ambassador of Indonesia Yuyu Sutisna, with discussions focusing on enhancing bilateral security cooperation.
These meetings are part of Morocco’s broader approach to strengthening international partnerships in the security field.
