Royal Air Maroc launched a new direct air route on Friday connecting Brussels and Tetouan, aiming to strengthen air connectivity between Morocco and Belgium and facilitate passenger travel.
The inaugural flight departed from Brussels Airport at 12:15 heading to Tetouan Saniat Rmel Airport, with a frequency of two flights per week on Mondays and Fridays.
A reception was held at the departure area of Brussels Airport, attended by members of the Moroccan community and Belgian travelers, along with airline representatives and airport officials.
Morocco’s ambassador to Belgium, Mohamed Amer, stated that this route would facilitate travel for Moroccans living in Belgium, particularly those from northern regions.
The airline’s regional director for Benelux, Mohamed Issam Mosaddaq, noted that the new route strengthens the company’s network and supports tourism and travel offerings to northern Morocco.
