The city of Fez hosted on Wednesday evening an immersive artistic show titled Nostalgia Land of Scholars, offering audiences a journey through significant moments in Morocco’s history.
The event was held under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, attended by Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, as well as regional official Khalid Ait Taleb and cultural stakeholders.
The performance combined theatre, music and immersive staging to present a renewed interpretation of national heritage, highlighting historical periods including the reigns of Moulay Idriss II and Moulay Hassan I.
More than 300 artists and technicians contributed to the production, recreating scenes from Morocco’s historical memory in a symbolic setting.
According to Bensaid, the program launched in 2016 aims to promote historical sites and present Moroccan history through innovative formats.
Similar shows are scheduled in other cities including Meknes, Rabat and Agadir.
Director Amine Nassour stated that this second edition in Fez focuses on key periods in Morocco’s history, targeting a wide audience, particularly young people.
