Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa represented Morocco at the Global Alliance for Children summit “Together, Building the Future,” held at the White House in Washington, following an invitation from Melania Trump.
The initiative aims to enhance children’s well-being and strengthen their independence in the digital age through education, innovation, and technology, particularly in light of rapid advancements in artificial intelligence.
In her opening remarks, Melania Trump emphasized the need to equip children with digital tools and called for concrete actions, including regional meetings, stronger partnerships with the private sector, and improved legislative frameworks to protect children.
Princess Lalla Hasnaa highlighted Morocco’s commitment to the initiative, stressing that preparing children for the digital era is a shared global responsibility, and underscored the importance of reducing inequalities through technology.
She also reaffirmed Morocco’s willingness to expand its national digital protection platforms and share best practices with partners, particularly in Africa.
