Morocco international Ismael Saibari expressed his delight following his team’s victory over Scotland, emphasizing that unity and team spirit remain among the key factors behind the positive results achieved by the Atlas Lions at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Saibari stated that the strong atmosphere within the squad is reflected in the team’s performances on the pitch, noting that all players share the same ambitions and are working collectively toward common objectives.
The Moroccan midfielder added that collecting four points from the first two group-stage matches has given the team additional confidence ahead of the next fixture, while stressing that the focus is now on finishing the group stage in the best possible manner.

Saibari scored the only goal of the match against Scotland after just 71 seconds, securing a valuable victory for Morocco and strengthening the team’s chances of advancing to the knockout stage.
In addition to scoring the winning goal, the Moroccan international was named Player of the Match for his overall performance. His strike also became the fastest goal recorded so far at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
