Police officers in Marrakech arrested a 22-year-old man on Monday, June 29, on suspicion of performing dangerous stunt riding on a public road and endangering the safety of road users.
The investigation was launched after police identified a video circulating on social media showing a motorcyclist carrying out risky maneuvers on the streets of Marrakech. Investigators were able to identify and locate the suspect.
Police also seized the motorcycle believed to have been used during the incident.
The suspect has been placed in police custody as part of a judicial investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to establish all the circumstances surrounding the case.
