Morocco has strengthened its air capabilities with the recent delivery of a new batch of AH-64E Apache attack helicopters, as part of a military agreement with the United States aimed at modernizing its air force.
According to available information, the Royal Air Forces received this batch in recent days under a contract signed in June 2020 for the acquisition of 24 helicopters, with this being the second delivery, including aircraft bearing serial numbers from 2407 to 2412, in line with established technical procedures.
This delivery follows a first batch received in March 2025, which included six helicopters and was marked by an official ceremony attended by Moroccan and American officials, reflecting the level of military cooperation between Rabat and Washington.
This initiative is part of broader efforts to modernize the Royal Armed Forces by integrating advanced equipment aimed at enhancing operational readiness, within a regional and international context marked by growing security challenges.
