PricewaterhouseCoopers, a leading multinational professional services network, has opened in Casablanca a regional Digital Resilience Center (DRC), the first of its kind in the Middle-East and North Africa.
The inauguration ceremony was attended Tuesday by Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Commerce Ryad Mezzour, highlighting the government’s support for digital transformation initiatives.
The Casablanca PwC center, also the first in the African continent, serves as an expertise and innovation hub, enhancing digital resilience of Moroccan and international companies. It addresses modern cyber threats, financial crimes and provides risk management, data protection, digital forensics, and regulatory compliance.
The center offers around-the-clock cyber-security services to local and global clients, comprehensive modular solutions including digital identity & cloud security and an integrated approach leveraging PwC’s worldwide network of 7,800 cyber-security professionals.
PwC has pledged to contribute to Morocco’s national goal of training over 100,000 digital and cyber-security specialists by 2030. The firm intends to deploy 100 dedicated consultants in its Casablanca office to up-skill local talent and support the country’s digital economy. The move also enhances Morocco’s digital transformation and positions Casablanca as a key hub for African cyber-security efforts.
