Under the instructions of Mohammed VI, Crown Prince Moulay Hassan inaugurated the Mohammed VI Tower on the right bank of the Bouregreg river, marking a new architectural milestone in the Rabat-Salé area.
The Crown Prince toured several sections of the tower, including conference areas, a library, a model apartment, and the Waldorf Astoria hotel, as well as an observation deck offering panoramic views.
Standing at 250 meters with 55 floors, the tower is now the tallest building in Rabat, combining modern design with environmental standards.
The project is part of the Rabat City of Lights cultural capital program and the Bouregreg valley development initiative.
It includes offices, residential units, commercial spaces, and cultural facilities, supported by advanced energy-efficient technologies.
The tower also features systems for energy recovery and rainwater collection, earning international environmental certifications.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials and representatives of O Capital Group, which led the project.
